Marine Protected Areas

By 1995 there were over 1,306 sub-tidal MPAs. Marine Protection Areas (or MPAs) is a management tool to protect biodiversity and assist resource management in virtually all the world’s marine. It is a zone made to protect marine habitats and species for the good of the ocean, society and more. It limits what humans can do at that specific area and is controlled by the government. This can help marine life as it restricts human activities and decrease human-made harms to the marine.
